We Provide care protection, rehabilitation, reintegration and support to children living and working in the streets of Kisumu. This project is important being that it helps the children recover their childhood and access children rights that includes right to education, food, shelter and clothing among others.
We Provide care and support for vulnerable children from family affected by alcohol consumption in the community. This programme intends to retain them in school and empower them with necessary life skills.
We carry out community awareness outreach programmes that aims to educate the community on effects of alcohol and other drugs. Through partnership with other stakeholders we lobby government institutions to come up with laws/policies that govern the intake of alcohol and drugs.
80 recovering alcohol users have formed support groups/self-help groups and engage in IGA’s (table banking, poultry farming, horticultural farming) to support their families. This also provides a platform upon which the beneficiaries discuss social issues affecting them.
We provide a safe environment for children and youth by making them engaged in constructive sporting and creative arts activities during their free time. This ultimately help them in overcoming social vices e.g Crime, Drug abuse, peer and negative influences among others.
This programme aims at providing access to information for the community members and for the school going children it helps them improve their studies through access to course books and story books.
